Debate evening - Does reality make sense?

Come and experience an original evening debate in Nantes in February 2020.

In partnership with Les 1classables, an association, philosophical café and creator of original events in Nantes since 2015, this original evening debate will be structured around several questions:

How do we construct our relationships with others according to what our senses reflect back to us of them? "Is our reality entirely constructed by our senses?", "Do we have the same reality as our neighbor?" or "How can we share a common reality when our sensitive experience is different?" are just some of the questions the guests will answer in the unique setting of the Espace sensoriel Dans le Noir ? Nantes.

A two-part evening debate in Nantes

Dans le Noir ? is a specialist in dinners and activities in complete darkness, and regularly offers this unusual setting to groups of individuals and companies to create unusual encounters rich in meaning. For this original debate, participants will discuss these questions in groups, alternating between complete darkness and light.

Plunged into total darkness, free from the gaze of others, participants will discover a new way of exchanging, debating and constructing another reality! The debate will then continue in the light for the second part of this unusual event. Will depriving oneself of sight and then regaining this sense give a new dimension to the debate? What difference will it make? Experience will tell you!

• Where: Espace sensoriel Dans le Noir ? Nantes: 1 Place Saint-Similien, 44000 Nantes, France
• Registration: Event on registration https://nantes.danslenoir.com/reserver-nantes.html Click on the "reserve your tasting" button in the center, then choose the date of our evening, February 4. The rest is pretty intuitive ;)
• Participants: limited to 30 people maximum. We ask you to register only if you are really coming, so as not to prevent other participants from registering.
• Free entry: one courtesy drink of your choice per person (fruit juice or lemonade: €4, glass of red/white wine: €5).
