First of all, we'd like to wish you a very Happy New Year for 2022.

The entire Dans le Noir ? Nantes team wishes you all the best. Our guides continue to welcome you to our restaurant with their legendary smiles and positivity!

The team has recently expanded, and we'd like to introduce you to the latest arrivals.

First of all, meet Cindy. She's a 36-year-old blind mother of 2.

"It was after reading about 2 guides to the restaurant on Facebook that I immediately gave it a try. I'm always on the lookout for unusual experiences, so it was a no-brainer for me to sign up to this concept. I'm a social person, and like to get out and meet people. Passionate about music and singing, and a fan of new challenges, my next challenge is to make it onto the "N'oubliez pas les paroles" show. With 3,500 songs written in Braille and 700 learnt by heart, I'm determined to succeed. I think you have to know how to make your life a dream and your dreams a reality!"

We'll be sure to keep you posted on the progress of this exciting project.

Finally, the team recently welcomed Bathie, a 28-year-old student.

"I'm Bathie. I'm studying for a Master's degree in Sociology at the University of Rennes 2, and live in Nantes.I'm originally from Senegal, where I studied until I passed my baccalauréat in 2012. I studied at the Institut National Education et de Formation des jeunes aveugles du Sénégal in Thiès, before continuing my university studies in France. In my spare time, I've been a cecifoot player at the Don Bosco Nantes club since 2016. I'm also an activist for the respect of equal opportunities for disabled people and also secretary in charge of communication and external relations for an association working for the promotion and protection of blind people in Senegal. I'm passionate about reading, music, travel and sport, and when I saw the offer for a guide-server on social networks, I decided to join this adventure to gain experience. Because all is not lost when you lose the light."

They join the Nantes team already comprisingHavva, Kamila and Mickaël.
